PEOPIL Members Liam Moloney, (Ireland) Paul Mc Clorry (UK) Carlos Villacorta, (Spain) Mark Gibson (Scotland) and Sylwia Mysliwska (Poland) were recently elected to new officer positions in the American Association for Justice (AAJ).
Liam Moloney (Ireland) and Paul Mc Clorry (UK) are the new Chair and Vice - Chair of the International Practice section. Liam is the Managing Partner of Moloney Solicitors in Dublin and Paul heads up the International Travel team of Hudgell Solicitors.
Carlos Villacorta (Spain) and Sylwia Mysliwska (Poland) have been elected to the AAJ Board of Governors for three year terms representing the Balance of the World.
Mark Gibson (Scotland) is the new Revitilisation Governor for the UK and Ireland.
Carlos is the Head of the BCV LEX firm with offices in Madrid and Bordeaux. Sylwia is a Partner with the Gostynski Wspolnicy Law Firm in Krakow. Mark is a Partner with the Scottish law Firm Digby Brown.
All the elections took place at the recent AAJ Annual Convention in Denver which was also attended by PEOPIL Executive Board Members President John Beer, Secretary Clive Garner and CEO Wolfgang Resch.
Commenting on their elections Wolfgang Resch CEO of PEOPIL said today “PEOPIL are delighted to congratulate Liam , Paul, Carlos, Mark and Sylwia on their elections to prominent roles within the AAJ. They will no doubt serve in these positions with distinction. Their appointments further enhance the continuing strong association between PEOPIL and the AAJ”.
