PEOPIL Revitalization Officer Liam Moloney Re-elected to AAJ Board of Governors

Liam Moloney has been re-elected to the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) to serve for a further 3 years. The Board of Governors is the ruling body of the organisation with only six Governors representing Continents outside of North America. His election took place at the organization’s recent annual convention in Washington which was held remotely for the first time.

As the World’s largest Trial Bar, with over 23,000 members worldwide, AAJ works internationally to improve and develop individual countries legal procedures and systems to ensure proper compensation for victims of accidents caused by the negligence of others.

Commenting on his re-election Liam Moloney said today “I am honoured to have been re-elected to the Board of Governors of AAJ as one of two Governors for the UK and Ireland. I very much look forward to working with my fellow Governor Katherine Allen over the next few years to promote the aims and objectives of AAJ”.

He added “AAJ members fight for fair civil justice systems for victims of accidents, medical errors and also to maintain safety and accountability for companies that harm consumers by selling dangerously defective products”

Commenting on the increased co-operation between AAJ and PEOPIL members PEOPIL CEO Dr Wolfgang Resch said today “with the globalisation of travel and communications the number of cross border injury cases continue to rise. PEOPIL and AAJ members continue to work together to promote and develop expertise in the area of personal injury law”.
