PEOPIL's Partner Organisations
We are very grateful for the partnerships with the Lawyers’ Associations from Australia, England, the United States, France and Spain.
The Presidents of these organisations are members of PEOPIL and we have welcomed many AAJ and APIL members as PEOPIL members.
Having organised several webinars with AAJ and several joint conferences in 2023 and 2025, we look very much forward to more intense collaboration with AAJ, ALA, ANADAVI, ANAVA and APIL.
There was a conference for Spanish speaking lawyers in Madrid in 2024 and a French speaking one in Paris in June 2025.

For over 75 years, AAJ has successfully defended Americans’ right to trial by jury and continues to fight every day to protect our practices, our clients’ rights, and our civil justice system.
AAJ’s vision is justice for all.
AAJ Delivers Exceptional Education, Unparalleled Advocacy, and a Dedicated Community of Trial Lawyers Fighting for Justice.

The Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA) is an association of lawyers and other professionals dedicated to the protection and promotion of justice, freedom, and the rights of the individual in Australia.
Our members are primarily plaintiff lawyers practising in personal injury law. We offer an extensive range of professional development events with annual conferences plus seminars and online webinars focused on issues including medical negligence, workers compensation, accident compensation, abuse law, human rights and more.
We welcome international members.
PEOPIL and ANAVA, are organisations which, in their respective fields of action, European and Spanish, promote judicial cooperation and mutual knowledge of legal systems in the field of personal injury law. This is the framework for the conference which was held on 9 and 10 May in Madrid, at the Madrid Bar Association. The conference aimed to share the knowledge on the current legislative position as well as on the specificities in different international jurisdictions. The working language was Spanish and we are very proud of our non-native speakers who did a great effort to speak in Spanish at this conference.

The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) is a not-for-profit campaign group which has been committed to injured people for more than 30 years. APIL is the UK’s largest claimant injury lawyer association with around 3,000 members who are committed to supporting the association’s aims. Over the years APIL has grown to become the leading, most respected organisation in this field, constantly working to promote and develop expertise in the practise of personal injury law, for the benefit of injured people.
The French association for personal injury lawyers ANADAVI brings together lawyers who are specialised and experienced in both areas and who are committed to defending victims only.
Defending victims requires specific expertise in both liability law and personal injury compensation.
ANADAVI and PEOPIL invite you to a symposium on Saturday 14 June 2025 from 9am to 1pm.
The theme will focus on the harm suffered by relatives in the event of death and will allow us to discuss new techniques and contributions from foreign law.
The field of personal injury is constantly evolving, and we must draw inspiration from foreign law to question our practices and assessment methods.
Economic losses, loss of earnings and loss of affection will be presented in French law and discussed in English, Belgian, Spanish, Greek and Italian law.
